2010年12月6日 · I presume you don't have it on your keyboard. It has the ASCI code of 92, so you can generate it by holding the ALT key down and typing 092 on the numeric keypad, which may be marginally quicker than Insert | Symbol. Hope this helps. Pete

2006年7月14日 · The backslash key is located directly above the the Return key on Apple keyboards. It is important to differentiate between the backslash and the forward slash keys. The backslash key has a "pipe" character above it, which is a straight vertical line. The forward slash key has a question mark above it.

2014年1月15日 · Under the "Keyboard" menu you should have Enhanced Keyboard and 102-keys selected. This gives you the extra UK backslash key. All the UK servers I control, I now pin the on-screen keyboard to the start menu now so I can get to that key fairly easily.

My backslash key is mapped to ] while in the VM, and I can't find a key that maps to backslash/Yen. After looking at a few images [3] [4] and talking to a Japanese colleague (and having them demonstrate how they would type it) I've come to the conclusion that my US keyboard is effectively missing the required key.

And recently, even attempts to remap a neutral key (CAPSLOCK) to the American version of backslash-pipe (up somewhere near backspace, as I recall) simply give me another hash-tilde key.

2022年1月14日 · A US keyboard does not have a backslash key. They normally access this by pressing the right Alt key (Alt GR) and the key with the hash symbol (#) on it. 2018年10月18日 · So backslash is not appearing for me. If I press the key nothing happens, but the key works as when I shift press to get pipe( | ) it works perfectly. Even when I use the virtual keyboard it does not allow me to input backslash. I have also tried remapping the key to another key through Corsair's Cue software. This does not fix it either.

2022年12月19日 · I've even installed windows 11 for that (first seen on windows 10). And here comes the most interesting part - even when I use System Keyboard, when I choose backslash key, it's not being written, when I use Shift+backslash, pipe is written correctly again. What more can I do, I think I've tried everything I've found in the internet.

Note that if the key you are mapping should have a different meaning when used with the shift key (for example for British keyboard layouts, Shift+2 gives quotation marks) then you can simply list the secondary command after the first.
