The Willys CJ2A, the first mass-produced Jeep intended for the civilian market, began production on July 17, 1945. Most people know that civilian Jeeps evolved from the model MB of World War Two fame, but few realise that the CJ2A had two civilian ancestors: The CJ-1 and the CJ-2.

2018年4月20日 · Have a CJ2A built in July of 46 and converted to 12V. Pulled the starter and had it tested and is shot. It was an MDU 7004. Noticed the gear looked like it had been hitting the flywheel a bit short. Can someone point me in the right direction as far as what starter I need. Another MDU 7004 or MZ4113 upgraded to 12v.
