As far as pilots, I was Navy, found a base with helicopters, walked up to a CWO3 with wings and respectfully asked if I could have a quick chat. He got me in touch with a CW05. Be confident, respectful and most people are willing to help.

2006年6月2日 · I have a good friend from high school that went through the process from start to finish. He did the "Street to Seat" program with a mere AS Degree from a community college. It is very possible. I am in the process of completing a WOFT packet as well. I have a very honest recriuter that is willing to take me from start to finish.

2023年1月19日 · Currently in the process of putting together a packet. For context I’m enlisted SPC with the national guard. I’m wanting to swap to apply for WOFT and make the switch to active duty. I’ve contacted the warrant officer recruiting for my region and was given some guidance. Please let me know if I’m sort of on the right track here

2019年7月14日 · They need to speak to your leadership ability, you motivation, and whatever extracurricular activities/volunteer work/leadership roles you've been involved in. Your LORs will make or break your WOFT packet. EDIT: Tell your recruiter that if you don't get accepted after 2 looks, you'll enlist aviation and try again as a Soldier.

2021年4月12日 · I just recently finished my Flight Physical for my WOFT packet. First I had to do MEPS which was just a regular physical. I then had to go to a base that had a flight surgeon so I could do my flight physical. The closest base to me was 10 hours away and I had to go on 2 separate occasions. For me there was a flight physical part 1 and part 2.

2019年12月18日 · Good morning all, so I have been working on my WOFT packet since before May when I got PRK. I studied my ass off for the SIFT and scored well, screened my essay through some of my coworkers over and over again until it was finally right, and pretty much had my whole packet together minus LOR’s and my flight phys.

2020年6月16日 · So, my recommendation is quite simply, complete college and select 1 of the other services in being a pilot. Each profession has a pecking order. WOFT should be your last option in having a 4yr degree. You'll find very few Army pilots would disagree if they had options in flying in another service. Don't be concern on the WOFT stats.

2018年10月7日 · I was recently selected for WOFT this past July. It took me 10 months from the time I walked into the recruiting office to getting accepted. My recruiter ended up being very helpful, however my application process was not without its setbacks. Most recruiters do not know how to put together a packet so be sure to do your own due diligence.
