2023年10月28日 · Im a newbie here so hi to everyone. I have a wooden fence pillar (pic attached) which has split. Obviously rain is getting into it and its getting a bit soft so probably needs replacing but in the mean time im thinking of filling in the split with wood filler and then clamp the sides of the pillar together with cable tie or some sort of clsmp.

2021年4月10日 · The first issue is that the bottom of the first part of the fence there are currently placed four thick pieces of timber, this is because the gardens are on a slope… I’m thinking about using bolt down supports and attaching these to the wood to then erect the fence post. Would this provide enough support to the post to create a solid fence?

2021年8月16日 · I am building a 6' fence with Menards bought green pressure treated southern yellow pine AC2, MCA wood. I set 20-10' 4 x 4 posts in holes that were 40" inches deep-12" in circumference. I used 350 lbs of cement in each hole. I then had a injury and it's now two weeks later and I am ready to install 2 x 4 x 8' boards to the posts for the pickets.

2024年9月2日 · I walked into an empty house (interested in buying) and noticed in the hallway swollen /warped wooden floors. Is there reason for alarm? How much of the flooring needs to be removed to repair? I'll have an inspector take a look but came here for answers. Many thanks and suggestions are truly welcome.
