2012年10月28日 · So I think it comes down to Continental PureContact LS vs Yokohama AVID Ascend GT vs Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack. The Continental's are probably a safe bet. But if others have experience with the Yokohama in comparison to the Michelin's i'm currently using and these Continental PureContact LS I'd love to hear.

2015年10月4日 · The YK740's are much like the Avid Ascend GT's, with the GT's main difference being some kind of BluEarth manufacturing? The Continentals are 21.6 lbs per tire whereas the Yokohama's being 26lbs each. While I think the Yokohama's had an excellent plush ride and a nice look to it, I discourage anyone from getting it for an EV.

2017年11月30日 · Yokohama AVID Ascend GT have a 65k mile rating and have really good dry and wet weather performance. I have them installed on my previous car, and I'll install them on my 3 when the stockers need replacing.

2019年6月25日 · I am really enjoying the ride with the Yokohama Avid Ascend GT - the wet traction is far better than the Goodyear OEM tires. I used to race Yokohama tires on my cars (when I was younger) and really love their racing and advanced road tires. I was surprised that they have a sporty GT.

2014年12月5日 · Since this is practically a 3 ton vehicle, I don’t expect F1 car performance so I can’t speak to the change in absolute handling and braking. I picked the Perelli’s because they are superior to the Yokohama‘s in specification and safety is worth more to me than a little bit more wear range.
