2022年6月17日 · At 20 week anatomy scan both babies looked perfect until our MFM came to room and told us that they can’t find nasal bone in either Babies and it’s a strong soft marker for Down syndrome. He even told us to go for Amniocentesis which we refused to do it as I already had bleeding problem earlier.

2023年9月13日 · Had our first anatomy scan at 20 weeks, and nose looked normal, but they didn’t get a really good look at the profile and the heart so they sent us back 2 weeks later. At that appointment they found out that baby has Absent/hypoplastic nasal bone. They sent us to MFM for a detailed scan and baby is looking really good except for the nasal bone.

2019年12月31日 · I had an abnormal panorama way back at 14 weeks and went in for a level 2 ultrasound .. the dr specifically showed me baby did have a nasal bone and the nasal bone would most likely be absent if there were a chromosomal abnormality. It could still be nothing, but I’d be concerned and want more information.

2018年1月28日 · At our anatomy scan, they could not find the nasal bone which is a marker for Down Syndrome. We went to a specialist for a better ultrasound, and it was confirmed that there is no nasal bone. However, we had already done the NIPT test which came back negative, and everything else in US looked perfect (no other markers).
