Tracker Online
Tracker Online is a free video analysis and modeling tool from Open Source Physics (OSP) designed for use in physics education and hosted by the AAPT-ComPADRE Digital Library. Tracker has traditionally run only on the destop (Windows, Mac, Linux), but is now available here in your web browser.

Download the installer file Tracker-6.x.x-linux-64bit-installer.run from ComPADRE or the Tracker home page. Type sudo chmod 755 ~/Downloads/Tracker-6.x.x-linux-64bit-installer.run (change x.x to the number for your installer) and enter your password to make the installer executable.

Tracker can export the current video clip as a digital video file, animated GIF or image sequence, thus serving as a simple video editor and transcoder. But exported videos can also include track overlays, video filters, and additional views like world views and plots, making them useful for documenting the video modeling or analysis results.
