    Can I apply ointment to a wound closed with Dermabond?
    Ethicon Dermabond Advanced Topical Skin Adhesive should not have ointment or liquid medications applied to wounds closed with it, as it will compromise the integrity of the wound closure. Secondary bandages can only be applied after the adhesive has completely dried (polymerized). The application of secondary dressings should not leave the adhesive sticky.
