2022年7月12日 · It is interesting that the KF5 seemed to digest steel and aluminum case ammo without any issues which is atypical for mp5 style weapons. The gun is Interesting enough in it's current form and easily modified and refined if your handy with cad and 3D modeling. Think KF5-SD by just changing up the hg and swapping out the barrel in minutes.

2021年1月6日 · Finally got around to starting an MP5 build. Started with an LSC flat, and 3d printed a bending jig. I already had a press from AK building, so apart from the super long print time, went pretty smoothly. The jig was designed for full size CETME/hk33s, but with a little modification, fit the mp5 flat just fine

2025年1月9日 · The 3d printed jig is on thingiverse. Search mp5 flat bending jig or 5879229. I haven't used the mp5 jig but I have used the G3 jig and it worked great. Just make sure you use plenty of walls and high infill percentage and when using it make sure you spread the force on as much surface area as you can.

I only had JB weld on hand so I used that instead. Again, 3D printed tools and jigs come in handy. Here's a rear sight base weldment jig that someone made available for download on Thingiverse:

2021年2月12日 · Interesting they used aluminum and not delrin or another polymer. A magwell like that could be easily molded or even 3D printed with the benefits of reducing wear, tighter fit, slicker contact/mag insert, etc.

2022年8月3日 · It is a replacement gripframe/lower that allows you to use AR-15 triggers (not all, but there is a list) and AR-15 grips on your roller MP5 or clone. There is a version for push-p[in receivers and those with a HK style shelf. The concept sounds interesting, but the cost is $250, then the cost of the trigger, etc.
