An appropriate A1C goal for many nonpregnant adults is “<7 percent (53 mmol/mol) without significant hypoglycemia.” Providers might reasonably suggest more stringent A1C goals (such as 6.5 percent) for selected individual patients if this can be achieved without significant blood sugar lows or other adverse effects of treatment.

2016年7月22日 · One month before the recent 6.7% A1C result, I started a diet and exercise program and have already lost 20 pounds, down from 235 to 215 (I'm a 5'6" male). I know the A1C shows an average for the previous 8-12 weeks, and the first 8 of those 12 weeks I was definitely overdoing it on the carbs and not exercising much at all.

An A1c of 5.2 for 3 years, just within the last 6 months an A1c of 5.4. low A1c's don't have anything to do with being complication free.

2023年5月25日 · Hello, everyone. I am a new member and I am a newly diagnosed diabetic. I just had my labs done and my A1C number is 11.3% and my blood sugar is 325 mg/dL. My previous labs were two years ago and my A1C was at 6.7% and I do not remember the blood sugar, but I knew back then that I had prediabetes.

2023年7月20日 · I’m happy to say that for the last week, my Medtronic 780 indicates my A1c ro have been 6.7. For me, that’s awesome. I’m thrilled. I think I can do better….if I didn’t have so much stress in my life that would be possible. I’m aiming for low 6 range before October.
