This is our guide to what we aim to keep as a straightforward, simple ratings system for books. Each book on the website is assigned a rating and a detailed explanation for why it received that rating.

2016年6月8日 · What Is Our Book Content Rating System? On Book Cave, we use our My Book Ratings (or MBR) ebook content rating system. MBR ratings are a lot like movie ratings, and they’re divided into six groups: All Ages, Mild, Mild+, Moderate, Moderate+, Adult, and Adult+.

The More Than a Review content rating system is simple. The Thumbs up or down is your opinion on if you would recommend the book. The Content Rating bars tell you how much violence, offensive language, sexual content, and drug or alcohol use will be found in the book.

The system is easiest to understand by reading the rated book reports themselves (below). Please look through and compare it with our content-based rating chart to see if we are consistent in our application of the 0-5 level definitions.

A book rating system is essentially a set of rules or criteria that guide how you rate a book. It can be simple – like a few guiding principles for assigning 1 to 5 stars. Or more detailed with specific categories and scores.
