Jun 19, 2018 · With the Boss the looper is just 'always available'. The Boss works with multiple pages for the settings of FX, you see the content of page 1, have to switch to page 2 to see and edit those, etc. With the Zoom all the settings are directly accessible which is nice (just fewer settings available per FX it seems though).

I guess thats why I wanted but never really got into making distorted tones only using the gt-1. I already had pedals, focused on adapting the digital amps to them rather than the opposite.

Cross the road and you'll get to Big Boss - another wide selection of effects pedals. I was very impressed by the Shin Music Dumbloid - it sounded really good. However, it's a whopping Y65,000, probably too much to spend for that.

I just recently purchase the unit, and to try it out quickly, I simply powered the unit on using batteries, plugged my guitar in, and ran unbalanced rca cables from the Headphone out jack into the rca unbalanced inputs of my monitors. My question is related to noise.

Apr 20, 2012 · The thing is that to really have "pure" Guitar into Amp tone you would have to use a guitar with a pickup running just through a volume pot plugged into an amp with just a volume pot. Period. No tone controls on guitar or amp. On almost all guitars and guitar amps you have tone controls, and circuitry running through all of those pots. Same idea.
