2024年11月5日 · This got me thinking right now we have Core switch>Firewall>ISP gear all linked with copper cable using SFP modules. My thought after this was we should change the copper out for fiber so if ISP has issue or we do we are more isolated.

2021年7月23日 · All switches have the ability to do 10 Gb via SFP+ modules and fiber. I contacted our normal cabling company and they recommend that I use SFP+ modules that go to copper at 10 Gbps, connect to a media converter, run 10 Gb fiber to the other end, media converter, Copper SFP+ module into the switch.
