2024年12月27日 · The Steez A2 and Steez SV TW I have are better suited for this style of fishing. I also have the Steez SV TW Limited Shallow Spool Edition and this reel is something special. I have been using it for heavy jigs with 50lb braid and it has been amazing for it. I am not sure what Daiwa did to make it a limited edition but it is a jig fishing beast.

2024年7月31日 · I still feel like the magnetic braking system Daiwa uses is the best in the business. I’ve owned a number of DC reels, and standard centrifugal braking reels with MGL spools and Daiwa just wins. The T wing doesn’t matter much to me, but I’ve replaced all of my Shimano reels with Zillions because for me they are easier to use.

2024年3月6日 · Been fishing 3 Daiwa Tatula MQ LT Spinning Reels (3000D-CXH) this spring. Mounted them on the new St. Croix Avid Series Spinning Rods 7 ft Medium. Mostly for throwing Jerkbaits but it's a set up that is extremely versatile. Reels are light, small for their 3000 size, powerful, silky smooth, cast great and manages the light braid I prefer perfectly.

2024年10月27日 · Both of mine are paired with Black Max reels and were the first two baitcasters I bought after I got back into fishing. They don’t get used as much but I still use and like them. And they still catch bass! @LCG I just looked at Daiwa’s website and they still list Aird-X casting and spinning rods. I looked at some Canadian sites.

2024年12月8日 · I recently bought a Daiwa Tatula XT spinning rod from Bass Pro. I have the two piece, 7' M-F model. Now I have only fished with it once and did not catch any fish, so take this with a grain of salt. However, I did cast a few different plastics and lures to get a feel for her. The rod is rated 1/8-3/4oz.

2019年7月15日 · I prefer Daiwa spinning reels. Not because they are "better" than Shimano, but most if not all of Daiwa's spinning reels are more feature packed and lighter then their respective price point Shimano counterparts. And Daiwa still makes the 2000 size reel, my favorite size. Shimano quit making 2000 sized reels a while ago.
