Hi I have had 25 GB of free storage after making referrals over years. The Dropbox icon on my task bar still says, "Dropbox 25 GB". I'm in the middle of passing files to members of a neighborhood counsel. Yesterday I sent a Dropbox link to some of the subcommittee and today it gives me a message "Couldn't copy - Your out of Dropbox space".

2024年12月5日 · In Dropbox's Basic (free) plan, any shared files that are added to your account contribute to your storage limit. This includes content within shared folders and files others share with you, as long as they are saved to your Dropbox.

Following the previous answers about similar situations, I closed the automatic Dropbox backup. Still, on the left of my Dropbox page online, I see "Out of space - 12.25 GB used", while in my Dropbox I use 8.76 GB only. And I still see on the top of the page: "Please review ASAP: your Dropbox is full and has stopped syncing.

My Dropbox storage is full and I have the FREE storage. I have deleted all but a few pictures on my pc and on my iphone (restarted both several times) but yet when I go to my phone app, it still says I am out of space and have to upgrade. I only use this for personal use and want to know how I can start with a clean slate on free space.
