2013年7月1日 · I've found a JY15 that looks perfect but don't know what time is required for setting this up. I hope to be able to store the boat on my dock but we are in a covered slip so the mast cannot remain up. Can anyone give me a ballpark on this? Does rigging the standing rigging require tools or is this pretty much plug/play/tighten by hand kind of work?

2018年8月30日 · By now everyone is aware that the thermoplastic JY15, Hunter 146, 170, & 216 are all prone to cracking. A few weeks ago I purchased a 2004 Hunter 216 that had a small 6” crack at the bottom of the companionway and a large (aprox. 3’ long) crack from the mast step to the port side rail on the cabin top.

2000年7月23日 · It has the exact same hull as the Hunter 140, but is set up a bit more for racing. The resale value will stay way up there, since lots of people are looking for them to race. Sailing schools use them also. Both the Hunter 140 and JY15 are much more stable than the Hunter 90, sunfish or a laser, even though they are both really fun boats.

2005年2月28日 · For those who said the boom kicker improves sail trim compared to a topping lift, could you explain further, what does a topping lift do to degrade trim? I do like the idea of something - topping lift or boom kicker holding up the boom - I am used to sailing JY15's and the boom down in the cockpit when raising or lowering the main.
