Support Jarate Anti-Sniper Sniper: A guide : r/tf2 - Reddit
2012年8月21日 · the sniper only needs jarate recharge and jarate slow, which costs 1200 total, while the scout would need 2700. the sniper can be done his full support upgrades by the end of wave 2, while the scout might need wave 4/5 and then start working on damage. so the sniper is a better "dedicated support" than the scout, but I see where you are coming ...
Jarate essay : r/tf2 - Reddit
2023年5月11日 · The Jarate's ability to extinguish teammates who are on fire is another useful feature. When thrown at a burning teammate, the Jarate will immediately extinguish the flames and remove the afterburn effect. This can be a lifesaver in situations where a Medic is unavailable or a teammate is in danger of dying from the fire damage.

Is Jarate+Bushwacka a crutch or just very annoying? : r/truetf2
Jarate bushwacka combo isnt impressive in a vacuum, but most of the fights in TF2 arent mge style 1v1s. Even so its a hell of a lot easier to land 1 jar and 1 swing than 2 swings. It can lead to dumb gimmicky situations, I've seen a medic in competitive get ambushed on a flank and die to a sniper in a single swing.
IMO jarate is overrated. : r/truetf2 - Reddit
2022年3月25日 · Jarate's main strength is that it's universally useful: it's good for offense, good for defense, and provides utility through dousing flames and coating spies. This puts it at a unique spot among sniper's secondaries, since most of them either provide passive protection (shields) or tend to become redundant as your rifle aim gets better (SMGs).
Why don't snipers use jarate all that often? : r/tf2 - Reddit
Of course Jarate is also great, but when I equip it it's usually because the other team has 4 pyros and people are on fire all the time. The thing about Jarate is that you lose that extra damage and protection that you get from the SGM, it's the unlock that leaves you the most vulnerable.
Weekday Weapon Discussion for 4/20: The Jarate : r/tf2 - Reddit
After recent testing in competitive 6s, most players agreed Jarate was a weapon that's bad for the game, allowing Snipers to take down Medics without actually landing so much as a bodyshot, and banned it. My assessment of the problem with Jarate is that its enormous splash makes its counterplay very low.
jarate + bushwacka combo? - underrated? : r/tf2 - Reddit
2011年9月27日 · Jarate + Bushwhacka is what I prefer for an active style of sniping. Jarate can be quite useful for breaking a big non-sentry defense, or slowing a big push by making everyone scatter. If you're playing less actively and sticking mostly to battlements, the SMG + Kukri tends to be the better choice.
Weapon Battle Thread - Jarate vs The SMG : r/tf2 - Reddit
Jarate allows the sniper to play a larger role on his team, whereas the SMG supplements your primary weapon. SMG just shoots people, which is a role already covered by your primary. Your sniper rifle is much better at being an SMG than it is at being Jarate. even if you use the Sydney Sleeper. Official vote: Jarate
Why isn’t Jarate allowed in medieval mode? : r/tf2 - Reddit
Lore-wise, yes a jar of piss should be allowed in medieval mode. But game balance-wise, it would be absolutely overpowered to use in a game. Throw jarate on the point and every kill every last one of them with a single melee hit. Everybody would be playing sniper and carrying jarate.
