2023年3月10日 · 2005, from what I can remember, had a huge lot of Wayne-inspired Tripods on the Internet. Probably way too many. But they weren't exactly the "standard" from what I can remember. Sure, maybe they were close... but not quite there. I'd say it was an equal match between Jeff Wayne's tripods, and the 1953 swan-necked flying saucer design.

2022年12月20日 · Thing is, both have different design styles. The 2005 looks like an uncaring god. The Jeff Wayne looks vengeful almost (and a little cheezy, but I like that about it). Overall, I like the Jeff Wayne tripod a lot better. It is a lot more charming.

2021年9月23日 · Mainly I don't like Jeff Wayne tripod's mechanical stiff legs, and it doesn't have anything I'd call a good. It's not the worst tripod design though, I like it. But to be fair the first adaptation I was exposed to was Spielberg's movie, and I was only 4.
