2015年11月4日 · Users who like to fly with orthophoto based sceneries may be interested in the free software Ortho4XP. It has been developed in the last few months and has evolved according to the feed-back from participants of the french forum x-plane.fr. Being mostly Python based, it is also cross-platform, at least Linux, OS X and Windows.

2024年6月5日 · I’m new to X-Plane 12 and was really happy to find Ortho4XP for improving the scenery. It’s awesome that this is available and is free. I first started with the binary .exe version 1.30 installation, but wanted to try to take advantage of the 1.40 changes for presumably better handling of water.

2024年6月5日 · If you're using the packaged/bundled version and updating from a previous release, I also added a link for updates which is just the executable as you don't have to redownload all of the dependencies; just replace the Ortho4XP executable.

2022年8月24日 · I've tried that with the Ortho4xp.py that comes in the .7z zip file containing the Ortho4XP.exe, then I tried the latest 1.40 binary (uploaded to github yesterday) and the last stable release of Ortho4PX v.130 from 23rd November, 2023.

2018年10月18日 · A friend suggested that I try using Ortho4xp 120b. The learning curve was not easy, and the vast amounts of disinfo on the tube made things much worse, but taking your advice, I rad the manual close and researched your method, and things began to click into place.

2017年7月8日 · I'm unable to locate a link to download the 64x Ortho4xp. Can someone provide a link? I've found some good videos on how to set it up and install some geographic areas, but they all assume the program is installed and unzipped. I am interested in the area surrounding Lake Tahoe in Nevada, USA.
