We're located 2km from Lake Wanaka on Highway 84 just before the West Coast turnoff. A pathway leads right out to us from town. Is Puzzling World open on public holidays?

Test your skills in the world’s first multi-level ‘Mega Maze’. Follow the pathways over, under and around, locate the towers then find the exit – sounds easy right?! Built in 1973 this is the maze that started a world-wide ‘Maze Craze’ and will challenge your mental abilities to the max!

Relax, your admission ticket is valid all day at Puzzling World so you can come and go as you please. Let us know though as we may need to print you a receipt to make re-entry easier. I bought a COMBO ticket and now it's raining - can you refund me the Great Maze portion?

Puzzling World is 2km from Lake Wanaka on the main highway heading north from town. We're 2 hours from Haast/Tekapo or just 1 hour from Queenstown.

An icon of the south, The Leaning Tower of Wanaka is tilted at an astounding 53 degrees and balances on just one corner! Grab the chance to get a great shot of friends or family seemingly holding, ripping or getting crushed (or poked!) by this crazy piece of architecture.
