2013年8月1日 · I buy parts from autozone, they are a parts house who advertise as themselves towards catering to backyard mechanics. If they sell a defective part to a backyard mechanic I do not believe they can just say "well we do not stand behind these parts unless you are a credited shop." My business and loyalty is with autozone not the manufactuer.

The kid behind the counter returns with Timken Set 45's in hand and stated that they did not have the Set 47's in stock.

2004年8月14日 · ..My son and i are in the middle of rebuilding an autozone engine with only 2000 miles on it.. the wrist pin in piston two didnt have enough clearance to let oil lube the pin. It banged the hootie out of the piston and caused a loud hammer sound in the engine. 207 dollars to have parts replaced , and we are doing the rebuild.

I spent most of my life working in auto parts stores and there was never a question on refunding core charges unless the core wasdamaged in some manner that did not permit it being used to remanufacture the item. Cores are actually needed and wanted by remanufacturers who depend upon them to produce their products.

2019年5月20日 · I have an XJ with the 4.0L engine. I have now replaced an Autozone "lifetime" water pump five times. The failed ones lasted between 5,000 and 20,000 miles. The real kicker is that, when I got the last warranty replacement, Autozone advised me that they would not be providing any more replacements.

2019年7月3日 · Most any well equipped hardware store or auto parts store carries the exact hose you need. Cut a piece off yours and go match it up. Autozone is not an auto parts store I consider well equipped.
