With some cables actually optimized for a current of a bit less than 50mA (48mA for example), but that will be dependent on the voltage of the HDMI port. 2020年10月5日 · I suppose in theory if I disconnected the HDMI cable between the TV and the receiver, I could get the receiver working with sound (and a video signal that never gets sent anywhere), and get video working wireless to the TV directly. But I obviously would want an hdmi cable connected between the receiver and the TV for several other devices.

How are the experiences with Xonar essence AV (it has a HDMi output) Is there a soundcard/device with a proper audio HDMI output. For stereo plenty but for multichannel?

Active HDMI - is potentially a problem as UHD and HDR hit the market, the 'active' component (Chip) buried in the send or receive connector is unlikely to support UHD BD/HDR.

2017年4月24日 · Some notebook (Windows), same cable and same projector always. I tested with different HDMI cables but the issue persist. Then when I was having the issue I changed to a Mac and it worked, so I assumed is the notebook with Windows. I tried everithing, updated, drivers, different HDMI, etc. I think that the problem is that the GPU start to overheat

2024年4月15日 · Hdmi 2 acting strange after a week or so. Cant reset it. Same cable, same everything works perfect in hdmi 4. Earc still works with hdmi 2 so ive had to run 2 display outs from my processor. It works for now but i cant seem to get it to stop doing this regardless of power cycling the tv, or just going to another app like channels, as suggested.
