2023年1月17日 · Kate Micucci, to me, tends to sound too enthusiastic to be Velma, or has a fake 'cartoony' quality to her voice acting, if that makes sense. Mindy Cohn, BJ Ward, and Nicole Jaffe all sounded really natural in their performances, and had a mostly laid-back but sometimes giddy tone that I feel really defines Velma as a character.

I don't mind Kate Miccuci, but her voice is just too squeaky to me - it removes some of the hidden wisdom Mindy portrayed in her voice for the character. I never heard about why she was fired, what on earth was WB thinking? Speaking of WB, I wish they would release some of the Scooby Doo soundtracks on Spotify.

Out of everyone, Mindy seemed the least likely to join a reboot so I’m surprised to hear her thoughts in that video. I have a hard time believing Lisa would create problems so I just think there is more to it. But I think Mindy is right about one thing. Most people say they want a reunion, but in reality, they probably don’t.

I miss Mindy Cohn voicing Velma she provided good voice acting for her, making her sound intelligent and just the sass she brought with her lol. Kate Micuci is a great voice actress don’t get me wrong, but as Velma? She just seems off to me. Maybe it’s because I grew up with Mindy’s version of Velma but I really do miss her.
