The race this weekend is sold out, but those of you lucky enough to get in on Mt Baldy’s Elusive Banked Slalom are going to be pumped on the track. Here is a glance at the opening left hander, a 12ft high wall with no shortage of lines to interpret. | Mt Baldy Resort

At least 3 1/2 FEET since Sunday. Chair #1 is currently spinning and we expect a close to on time opening tomorrow @ 9AM. There will be some Avalanche Control that will need to be done in the morning but we expect the Face to be open for riding & skiing right away. Thunder is expected before noon, but with Spring hours it will operate till 5:15. We will not get to Chair #4 until Friday for a hopeful mid morning opening. See you there. | Mt Baldy Resort
