Two people have been taken to hospital after a bus hit a tree and its roof was "taken clean off". The incident happened on Hedgemans Road in Dagenham, east London, at about 10:00 GMT, the Metropolitan Police said. Images of the aftermath posted on social media appeared to show that the roof of the bus had been ripped off.
