A while back I created this little landscape of wood, rocks, plants, and moss in a planter, and the substrate I had used, which is the homemade mix I use for my plants, had too much mineral content, and the moss drew it up and had a hard time growing. Mounting my houseplant on a bit of wood I found in the back. I wanted to use moss just like it came in, but not knowing how old the moss is I decided to change it out for some high quality New Zealand moss so I know what I’m starting with. I don’t care the hook in hindsight, so I’ll have to work on that. However I enjoyed the project all the same.
