Traditional Wedding in Nigeria (Igba Nkwu)

True story; I found out on day 1 of my traditional marriage rites and customs that my tribe, the mighty Urhobos from the Nigerian Delta, don’t accept bride price. After the mighty sum of 150 naira (15 cents) was rejected, they said they don’t sell human beings. Nigeria hosts over 350 ethnic tribes in Nigeria, and with so many nuances in each culture, I am curious to know how bride price aka dowry is managed in other cultures.
