Cellulose is often made from wood pulp. 🫣 This keeps the strands from clumping together in the bag. When you shred it yourself you don’t have the coatings and fillers. 2. It tastes better!! Once you taste fresh shredded cheese, you’ll never want bagged stuff again because it just tastes so much better. Because it isn’t coated in the anti-caking cellulose it melts
