Here’s a bit of process for a “Pepper’s Ghost” puppet show. The puppets’ voices are generated from a vocal synthesizer module called “Pink Trombone” in the synth app VCV Rack. The playback of the puppet video is manipulated in real-time by the voices, drum sounds, and MIDI using the VJ software VDMX from @vidvox. The result is reflected from an upturned television onto a piece of polycarbonate inside a large bell jar, creating the “Pepper’s Ghost” effect. #avart #realtime #synthesizer #moog #new
