Seborrheic dermatitis is a common, chronic form of eczema/dermatitis that mainly affects the sebaceous, gland-rich regions of the scalp and face. There are two common forms, the infantile variant, which is commonly referred to as “cradle cap” and the adult form, which commonly presents as scaly flakes and patches involving the scalp, creases of the nose, eyebrows, armpits and groin. The exact cause is unknown, but genes, hormones, increased skin lipids, and over-colonisation with Malassezia yeas
