X-rays confirm sweet Athena has a broken back. Her break is between the last thorasic and 1st lumbars at the T-1 junction. This explains why she has mobility issues at such a young age and it’s very likely the break was a result of her mother rolling on to her unintentionally when Athena was just a tiny baby. The break can’t be fixed but there is lots we can do from a therapy standpoint to help her build strength and hopefully improve her ambulation as she grows. Athena will be seeing our onsite
