French Onion Soup Ingredients: 6 lb peeled and sliced onions* 1/4 cup light olive oil 1/2 tsp kosher salt 2/3 cup dry white wine 12 cups beef stock (see recipe below) 1/2 tsp dried thyme additional kosher salt to taste if needed Instructions: Heat oil over high heat in a large wide bottomed pot and add onions and salt.
