Bok Tower Gardens, as a National Historic Landmark in central Florida, at the highest point in peninsular Florida (298 feet above sea level), built in 1929. Edward Bok was a Dutch-born American editor and Pulitzer Prize-winning author, a noted philanthropist and created Bok Tower Gardens. He had a great influence on American architecture and arts and crafts movement.
