I used orange juice to make an orange ice cube for a mimosa but you can also use water! 🍊well today was my first time drying out orange slices…. took about 3 hours to dry them out in a 200 degree oven, flipping every hour. Next time I’ll skip the rack (& place directly on parchment paper)because it left a few marks, but overall I am happy with how they look! I am so excited! I finally perfected my orange slice drying process! These turned out so beautifully & so I wanted to share what worked for me. I will say everyone’s ovens, oranges, & more can add a lot of variables so you need to find your own sweet spot, but this is a great start to getting your own perfect dried orange slices. I ran out of oranges 🙈 so I’m making one more garland for the top of the tree, and then I was thinking about adding some scented pinecones 🤔 The theme I made up for this tree is “fruit in the forest” so it would be fitting 🌲 Other ideas for dried orange slices: 🍊attach them to a garland on your stairs or mantle 🍊lay them in a bowl with cinnamon sticks for potpourri 🍊make a wreath out of them! 🍊 EASY DRIED ORANGE GARLAND 🍊 I know it’s probably super easy to dry oranges! I’ve seen all of the amazing tutorials, but every year I just get so crunched for time and the end up not doing it! I really wanted to add dried orange garland to my kitchen this year so I just did it the lazy girl way and bought them already done! 🤷🏻‍♀️ I will definitely try it eventually but for now…I’m just enjoying this garland all done and moving on to other projects! 😅If you want to try the lazy girl version
