Houseplants in semi-hydroponic setup I used lava rock (washed), dendrobium orchid, tradescantia rooted propagation, and Tillandsia Capitata ‘Peach’. This orchid (dendrobium orchid) does well in bright light and watered only when all the soil has dried- they love air to their roots! The reason this setup works is because the root tips are the only part of the root in water and the rest of the root is surrounded by fresh air! Add a little orchid fertilizer once the flowers fall off, top up the water as it evaporates and keep the glass clean and voila, you’ve got a healthy orchid! #plants #orchids | Tanner The Planter
