The East Midlands Railway #class222 ‘Meridian’ trains will start being replaced by their new #class810 ‘Aurora’ trains in 2025. So the question arises… where will the 222s be going? I think they should go to CrossCountry trains to replace some of the dreadfully stinky #class220 and #221 Voyager trains. The class222s aren’t absolutely terrible, and so would be a step up for passengers of intercity Cross Country trains. #uktrainspotting #trains #diesellocomotive #britishrailways #railway #railways
