PART 1 Painting my garage door to look like wood. I bought a kit for $79 and this couldn’t be any easier. Just a little prep work involved (cleaning/ sanding) and then I painted the whole door making sure to get in between the seams as well. The door needs to dry completely before the I can apply the gel stain but I had to test it out- I’m trusting the process but also hoping I chose the right color!
