My son did an amazing job representing THE Lonnie Johnson. Can you guess what he invented? Yes, the super soaker. My son gave a speech at his school’s black history program and had everyone raving about his performance. When he was given the opportunity to represent Mr. Johnson, he came home and said, “Mom, he invented the super soaker and looks just like me.” The connection he made was beautiful.
