For a long time I didn't want to wear an eyepatch. I had a fear of being treated differently, but since I started wearing one people have treated me with more respect. So it got me thinking why would people respect me for simply wearing an eyepatch? The truth is an eyepatch is a symbol of power. It shows the world that you can overcome hard times.
