HOW TO LIFT THE LEG CORRECTLY IN RETIRÉ/PASSÉ ✨ Ballet is 3D and spiral. Every movement needs to honour that. When doing pirouettes it’s really key to home onto two sides of the hips when going to retiré. Making sure that we don’t just pick the leg up to retiré but make sure we wrap the legs, use the deep rotators and spiral the femur bone.
