Something I’ve been thinking a lot about is how temporary everything in life is. I think we like to feel as if there is some degree of permanence in our lives, but the truth is, nothing is permanent. That thought can either be overwhelming or relieving depending on what frame of mind you’re in. I find it freeing. I know that rainstorms will come to an end eventually (unless you live in Seattle) and so I like to embrace it while it’s happening. Living fully immersed in the natural world around me
